Ha contribuido en muchas publicaciones sobre testing de software, es miembro de Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), IEE, AST, American Mensa, Context Driven School of Software Testing y firmante de Manifiesto for Agile Software Development.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>En 2008, fue invitado por el CES para dictar una conferencia en el Foro de Innovaci\u00f3n de las Am\u00e9ricas, organizado por la Agencia Nacional de Investigaci\u00f3n e Innovaci\u00f3n (ANII) del 30 de marzo al 1 de abril en Punta del Este, Uruguay. Durante su estad\u00eda, Scott se reuni\u00f3 con integrantes del CES y dict\u00f3 la conferencia \u2018Performance testing for managers\u2019, en la apertura del ciclo \u2018Testing en la pr\u00e1ctica\u2019, organizado por el CES.
